WWII - B-29 Superfortress

The B-29 Superfortress, introduced by Boeing® in 1944, was a strategic bomber and one of the largest operational aircraft of World War Ⅱ.  It was capable of winning wars through its sheer destructive power over enemy soil.  Never before had so many new ideas and technology breakthroughs been put together in a single aircraft.  Unlike most bombers of the era, it remained in service beyond WWⅡ, seeing combat action in the Korean War, which solidified its place in military aviation history.
